The new generation of Alapaha

Policy on purchasing puppies is as follows:  Because we don't breed dogs for the purpose of selling puppies.  The only way we offer pups to the public is on a waiting list.  Which means if we have enough names on the list. We will do a breeding strictly for this purpose.  At times, we do offer older dogs (usually under a year old) if we have too much of a good thing, although this is rare.  We would like to point out that we have been seeing ads containing the phrases "all lines covered" these breeders know for a fact they do not have blood from our yard.  If you hear of anybody making a claim that they have dogs from our yard you can confidently tell them they are a "liar" to thier face.  *update* (James Orr in Oregon is the only guy on the west coast that has a dog from our yard directly).  We do not breed oldde english bulldogs nor do we breed catahoulas.  We breed our dogs to the original standard written for the Alapaha bulldogs.  We do not try to change the standard to accomodate the style of dog we are breeding. The following kennels are the only folks to have ever received dogs from us directly.  Twin Elms Kennels and BBB's Kennels.  

What you can expect from our pups as far as color goes. And no we do not breed our dogs for the sole purpose of color.  Our dogs come in the following colors: Blue merle, Red merle, Brown merle, white and any color merle.  Solid white, brindle, black, black n' white, red, red n' white.  Fawn, and on more then one occassion tri-color. 

Our puppies, are all handled from birth by children and adults as well.  We feel this helps to imprint the bond between human and canine.  They are fed top quality puppy feed and you will receive them fully wormed and fully vaccinated for thier age.  Again, we are not in the business of selling dogs nor are we peddlers.  If you are looking for the style that resembles the olde bulldogge with a smashed in face and the sun can't shine under its legs. We do not produce this type of dog. We produce dogs according to the standard. Our average males stand between 25"-27" tall and weigh between 85lbs - 100lbs.  Females range from 24"-26" tall and weigh between 60lbs - 80lbs and are built to move!  We do not produce physically limited dogs.  Remember these are NOT english bulldoggs, nor should they look like one.

06/05/2005 Sorry for taking so long in updating here, been busy training and working.  Looks as though the previous breeding we had here did not take. We have xxcrossing our fingersxx just did an AI  with Rex for the last time as he is getting fixed on Wednesday for health reasons. Rex is about 9 yrs old.  Will let you know when we know more. Thanks as always for tuning in.

Our last litter information is as follows
1st Breeding : Shay's Joe x Shay's Lana   Pups dropped in October.
They have all sold - Beautiful dogs, great temperments.
Last litter out of Joe sold in one week.
2nd Breeding: Straight working paren'ts both trained and proven in personal protection.
Connor's & Shay's Buster x Connors & Shay's Jill   If you have been looking for the real thing in a personal protection prospect look no further.  This litter sold fast, Jill had 4 beautiful pups, and they soldl quite quickly. Always reserve in advance.
